Nadine started dancing when she was just two and then started singing and drama classes when she was five. While performing has always been a great love she always knew she wanted to become a teacher. 

After finishing high school she moved to London to study Performing Arts at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and was one of thirteen pupils on her course. For her final three years of studying Nadine attended Phil Winston’s Theatreworks where she gained Distinction in her Level 4 teaching exam and graduated in 2018. 

Nadine is currently working her way through her IDTA exams in the hope to one day become an examiner! She is also on the IDTA Scotland Theatre Branch Comittee and can't wait to help grow the IDTA in Scotland!

From 2024, Nadine will be stepping into the role of Director for our performance company, along with being the vocal coach and co-choreographer and she is super excited for the change in roles.

In 2023, Nadine trained with Showtime Circus to be able to deliver cirus and aerial classes all over Scotland!

Nadine can’t wait to keep growing Alba and Showtime and hopes that we can get even more kids and adults into class!

Miss Laura has been working at Alba since 2020 and the kids absolutely love her! After completing her training at Phil Winston's Theatreworks she went off to work all over the world as a dancer on cruise ships and with her wealth of knowledge we are so lucky to have her. 

For our 2024 pantomime Miss Laura will be one of our co-choreographers and the kids are super excited!

Laura is also a qualified circus and aerial teacher with Showtime Circus and will be teaching with Miss Nadine all over Scotland! 

Miss Lucy is our Saturday teacher at Alba!  Since 2019 Lucy  assisted in our Mini Dance, Acro and Ceilidh Fusion classes, covered multiple classes for Miss Nadine and helped Miss Nadine with her training by being a demonstrator in her exams and we are super excited that she came on board as a teacher in 2023.

Lucy has always worked hard in every class, gaining amazing exam results and most recently taking her Level 3 Diploma in dance teaching through the IDTA.

For our 2024 pantomime Miss Lucy will be our Mini Cast choreographer and will co-choreograph the rest of our pantomime with Miss Nadine and Miss Laura.

Nicole is one of the most important members of our team and a lot of what we do couldn't happen without her. Nicole is always there when we need her to be, whether that be on trips, at shows or in rehearsals.

Nicole started off as one of our adult tappers and soon started attending our trips to Can You Dance and different shows we went to see. When we needed another team leader for our Disney trip it was a no brainer that it would be Nicole.

Now Nicole is backstage at every show and constantly supports our dancers, she really is one of their biggest cheerleaders!

From 2024, Nicole will be working with our sound and light team to ensure every performance is amazing! 

Miss Aimee was one of Alba's very first pupils and we were super excited to welcome her back as part of our teaching team this year! 

Aimee will be one of our Showtime Circus assistants and also our prompt and assistant stage manager for our 2024 pantomime! 

Whilst she is still training at Hamilton Theatre Arts Aimee is still a massive part of our dance family and recently judged our 2024 competiton and ever since the kids are all asking for her to be back in classes!
