Owner/ Principal Teacher

Nadine started dancing when she was just two and then started singing and drama classes when she was five. While performing has always been a great love she always knew she wanted to become a teacher. 

After finishing high school she moved to London to study Performing Arts at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and was one of thirteen pupils on her course. For her final three years of studying Nadine attended Phil Winston’s Theatreworks where she gained Distinction in her Level 4 teaching exam and graduated in 2018. 

Nadine is a Fellow of the IDTA  is currently working her way through her exams in the hope to one day become an examiner! She is the Vice Chairwoman for the IDTA Scotland Theatre Branch Comittee and can't wait to help grow the IDTA in Scotland!

In 2023, Nadine trained with Showtime Circus to be able to deliver cirus and aerial classes all over Scotland!

Nadine can’t wait to keep growing Alba and Showtime and hopes that we can get even more kids and adults into class!

Teacher

Laura has been working at Alba since 2020 and the kids absolutely love her! After completing her training at Phil Winston's Theatreworks she went off to work all over the world as a dancer on cruise ships and with her wealth of knowledge we are so lucky to have her. 

Miss Laura teaches all of our Monday classes and is co-choreographer for our performance company.

Teacher

Miss Lucy is our Saturday teacher at Alba! Since 2019 Lucy  assisted in our Mini Dance, Acro and Ceilidh Fusion classes, covered multiple classes for Miss Nadine and helped Miss Nadine with her training by being a demonstrator in her exams and we are super excited that she came on board as a teacher in 2023.

Lucy has always worked hard in every class, gaining amazing exam results! She currently has her Level 3 IDTA teaching qualification and is a fully qualified circus & aerial teacher through Showtime Circus.

Miss Lucy is our Mini Panto Cast choreographer and will co-choreograph the rest of our performance company with Miss Laura & Miss Abi.

Lucy is currently covering Tuesday & Wednesday classes while Miss Nadine is on maternity leave.

Teacher

Cara is a professional dancer who trained at The MGA Academy of Performing Arts where she gained a BA honours degree in dance.

After working in Cyprus for Kanika Hotels and Resorts, dancing and singing in many shows, she has returned home and can’t wait to share her passion and knowledge with our pupils.

Miss Cara will be covering Monday and Friday classes whilst Miss Nadine and Miss Laura are on maternity leave.

Miss Abi was a pupil at Alba for many years are we are super excited to welcome her to our teaching team.

Abi is one of our performance company choreographers and will be one of our main cover teachers for any staff absences this year.

She is currently working her way through her Level 3 IDTA teaching qualification and is a fully qualified circus & aerial teacher through Showtime Circus.

Circus Assistant

Miss Sarah is our circus class assistant and workshop leader. You will see her in all of our circus classes where she helps teach the younger students.

Sarah is a fully qualified circus & aerial teacher through Showtime Circus and this year will see her leading these workshops, parties and classes.

Circus Assistant

Miss Aimee is a fully qualified circus & aerial teacher through Showtime Circus. You will see her in our workshops and parties leading or assisting.

Miss Rebecca assists in our Mini Dance & Acro class, our Inter Acro class and our Mini Performance Company Class.
